This Return & Refund Policy applies to purchases made through oak-coast.com.
1. Change of Mind Returns
We accept change of mind returns within 30 days of you receiving your order, provided that the item meets the eligibility conditions below.
Eligibility Conditions
To be eligible for a change of mind return, items must be:
- Unworn, unused, and unwashed
- In original condition, with tags/packaging (where applicable)
- Free from damage, staining, odours, or signs of wear
If these conditions are not met, we may refuse the return or, where appropriate, offer a partial refund.
2. How to Start a Return
To request a return, please email info@oak-coast.com and include:
- Your order number
- The item(s) you wish to return
- The reason for the return (optional for change of mind)
Important: Returns must be approved before being sent. After approval, we will provide the correct return address and instructions. Items returned without approval may not be accepted.
3. Return Shipping Costs
For change of mind returns, return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility.
If an item is faulty, damaged, or incorrectly supplied, we will provide an appropriate remedy in accordance with Australian Consumer Law (see Section 6). In those cases, return shipping may be covered or reimbursed depending on the circumstances.
4. Refunds
Refunds are processed only after returned items are received and inspected.
If your return is approved, your refund will be processed to the original payment method within 14 business days after inspection/approval.
Please note:
- Shipping fees paid at checkout (if any) are generally non-refundable for change of mind returns.
- Your bank or payment provider may take additional time to post the refund to your account.
5. Exchanges
We do not offer direct exchanges. If you would like a different size or colour, the easiest method is to return the original item (if eligible) and place a new order.
6. Faulty, Damaged, or Incorrect Items (Australian Consumer Law)
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
If your item is faulty, arrives damaged, or is not what you ordered, please contact us as soon as possible at info@oak-coast.com and include your order number plus clear photos/videos showing the issue.
After assessment, we will offer an appropriate remedy which may include a replacement, repair, refund, or another resolution depending on the circumstances and the nature of the issue.
7. Order Changes & Cancellations
If you need to change or cancel an order, contact us as soon as possible at info@oak-coast.com.
We will do our best to assist, however we cannot guarantee changes or cancellations once an order has been processed or dispatched.
